My Caramel Brulée Latte.

Controlling your thoughts is one of the hardest things in the world to do, but probably the most important skill you will learn in your life.  There are many different ways to do this, but today I am really focusing on this technique. Sometimes I start spiraling into my thoughts where I lose control of them, and it gets harder and harder to keep them positive.  Whenever I get a negative thought in my head, I figure out what triggered it. Once I realize the cause, I can avoid it in the future, and in that moment I can pause my thoughts by forcing myself to focus on a positive thought.  For example, I look at my puppy on my phone or I look at my desktop picture of Sydney. Right now I am sitting at Starbucks to enjoy the Christmas music and sipping my amazing caramel brulee latte, and I am very content on this warm Colorado day.

Another thing that is cheering me up today is that I am getting my hair colored and cut.  It has been far far too long and my hair needs it so bad.  Off I go.  Blonde or Brunette? I don't even know yet.
