One day I took a stroll (and by stroll I mean a stressful, confusing bus ride) down to the city to check it out. It was so busy and crowded and it reminded me of everything I was trying to leave behind in Colorado. I know it was just one experience, and I shouldn't let it ruin how I feel about the city. Currently, I am residing in a suburb of Sydney, and I love it. It is so quaint and calm. The mailman greats you on the street with a "G'day," and you can walk around on the streets barefoot. Life is so much simpler here. I used to think that living in the city and going out at night was what life is made of, but I think I have come to realize that life is about enjoying the sun and the conversations that take you into each others' lives. Joy truly does come from enjoying the little things in life.
The best breakfast of my life at a cafe called Hatch:
My favorite Australian magazine:

.but i like it.
A beautiful life is learning to create balance. Balancing time, balancing diet, balancing finances, balancing fun with work, and balancing faith and fear! There are times when we are outside looking in- like when we are working and wishing we were on the beach somewhere exotic, and then there are times when we are on the inside looking out- where you are. Go back in your mind to your original dreams and try to find them there... Beautiful post you did today!
ReplyDeleteThat's the reason why until now I don't travel yet,I don't want to be stress and I think I can lavishly spend money on shopping..however it's really tempting aside from you will learn more about the country that you are into. But today I think I need to save more. Lucky you and good thing it seems that you plan all your endeavors in your life there. Hope you found a place to stay pretty soon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like perfect breakfast!
i was always the person that prefers good magazine than food!:DD

ReplyDeleteTravelling in crowded vehicle is boring, but what 2 do? It's what make us more closer to life.
