I always lived my life based on the “Live Your Dreams”
motto or some extended form of that. Every moment from the time I
knew there was another place than Colorado, my dream had been to move away and
start a new life. When I explored
America through the years I decided I wanted to move to California because it sounded so cool. But then I
went to Hawaii and dreamed of living in a tropical vacation destination, a
never-ending vacation sounded so perfect to me! But then my world grew bigger
when I studied abroad in Rome, a country I new nothing of, not even the language. I learned my passion for different cultures
and found people different than me so intriguing. So, my dream kept growing and growing in
size. Then… the dream of Australia happened!
It’s everything in one and suddenly it was a possibility in my mind because I
dreamed of it! I flew here as fast as I
could and found everything I’ve ever wanted: independence, tropical climate,
different culture, accents, thrill-seeking adventures, living with people from
almost every country of the world, living on a beach, working a beach-side
café, and road-tripping with my best friends.
My dream has been fulfilled! I am
in my dream right now. Every day I wake
up and think, “I love my life! I can’t wait to jump in the ocean today!” I run
to the window and look at the bright turquoise ocean. This is everything I’ve dreamed of and
more. But what happens when the dream is
over. What happens when I wake up?
when you wake up, you wait for the next dream to come! and it will, because it always does

All you have to do is..."Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5,6).
Love you Gorgeous!!!

Beautiful post and a thought provoking question. Before you imagined California, before you imagined Hawaii, Italy, and then before you could even imagine Australia- they were still there, waiting... just as your next dream is already waiting for you to discover it. Life is fluid.... float with it.
ReplyDeletePS: Janeyl is absolutely right!
