Miniature Australia.

Before
After
One of my favorite features on my Canon SX30IS is probably one of its most simple features: Miniaturization Mode.
Tilt-shift photography pulls your attention to the focus and perspective, while enhancing the colors to give it toy-like quality.  It's a simulation of the depth-of-field you see in Macro photos and plays with the saturation of the colors. I almost over-use it because I like it so much, and I had to force myself to not use it all the time. I think it just makes everything more interesting!

So, here are some miniature photos from my trip to Australia. Enjoy!
