I hope you all have had a wonderful week! As you can see, I have been a very busy girl: working at my new job (love!), going to luaus, kayaking La Jolla Cove, visiting my favorite places in San Diego, Sea World, and eating more s'mores than I care to mention.  It's gotten a little out hand (the s'mores addiction), so I have sworn to no sugar for a s'mores detox.  One day down...the first day is the hardest, I hope.

For those of you sad, sad people from other countries that don't know what a s'more is (and yes, americans & canadians, not everybody in the world has grown up with these- shocking, I know):
S'mores, the great American camp-fire dessert, is a gooey, delicious concoction of three simple ingredients:

1. Graham crackers
(aussies & brittishes, these are sort of like your "biscuits" but not quite)
2. Hershey's Milk Chocolate
3. Marshmallows roasted over an open fire
(as you can see I've had to make do with microwaves and coconut-scented candles)
(p.s. aussies, your marshmallows are too sweet, find some jet-puffed Kraft ones somewhere...)
=S'mores <3

Okay, now don't talk to me about sugar, this is hard enough posting these pictures...

  1. As you described it, your job seems great ;) "Enjoy" your detox time, later will come more sugar time again.
